The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released its date-sheet for the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate examinations that are to be conducted in January 2025. These examinations come under Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

Examinations will be conducted at many centres in India as well as at some abroad locations. This time, the registration process for CAs is beginning on 10 November 2024.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) finally confirmed the dates for the January 2025 CA Foundation and Intermediate exams, which will take place in the third week of January.

Until now, the ICAI has communicated a formal guideline relating to the timings of the upcoming January 2025 CA Foundation and CA Intermediate examinations.

For the papers for which advance reading time is permitted, there shall be 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 PM (IST) to 2:00 PM (IST). The candidates are aware that some papers would not permit advance reading time, the same shall be checked through the official exam instructions.
For composite papers comprising both MCQs and descriptive questions, the seal for the MCQ's part shall be opened at 2:00 PM (IST). The separate advance reading time for the MCQ part is not being provided.
Students need to know the pricing they need to pay for doing registration in CA intermediate and CA foundation exams January 2025.

There will be a late fee for the students who will miss the deadlines. Indian, Bhutan and Kathmandu centres will require INR 600 while foreign centres can be registered with US$ 10 as the registration fees.
Online registration for the CA Foundation as well as Intermediate, scheduled to take place in January 2025, will soon be available. This is the first step toward becoming a Chartered Accountant, a sacred designation.
