Eligibility Criteria for CA Exams 2025
SSP Login Access
It is on the Self-Service Portal that your ICAI journey will start. Login credentials must be active. As a new user, register now on the ICAI e-Services Portal so that last-minute hassles do not befall you.
Stay Informed about Course Registration
Candidates must check their registration status. For those whose registrations have lapsed, transition to the updated syllabus (NEWFIN23 or CONFIN23) is mandatory. ICAI emphasizes this to align students with the latest course structure.
Upload Photograph & Signature
Maintaining a proper and up-to-date profile is essential. One should update his photograph and signature on the SSP according to ICAI’s requirements not to face rejection of application.
Articleship Documentation
Final-level candidates should ensure that the status on the portal for articleship reflects “Registered”. This is proof of completion of your training and verification of eligibility to sit for the exams.
Advanced ICITSS Completion
All candidates must complete the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) of ICAI. Complete this by April 10, 2025, to qualify for the May exams.
SPOM Requirements
On the basis of your admission into the course and previous exam history, complete the mandatory Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM). Ensure all sets are completed well before the deadlines.
Articleship Training
Completion of articleship is a crucial requirement for appearing for the exams. Candidates must adhere to the following timelines:
April 30, 2025: For those completing articleship in the first cycle.
October 31, 2025: For others whose completion dates fall after that.
Excess leaves taken during the articleship should be accounted for and resolved before these dates.
